Gossip Girl Season Two

So, what are we thinking about the new season?

Have you seen any new trends that would look great in our lives as on the show ?

Chuck & Blair? Blair & Lord Marcus? Serena & Dan? Serena & Nate? Jenny & Eric?

I always felt like a Blair Waldorf personally, and I'm loving all the headbands. They are inspirational for next spring/summer. However Serena Van Der Woodsen does not look quite as good as the book made her out to be. I wasn't to fond of the white dress she wore at the White Party. In a matter of fact, I didn't like the white party idea in general.

Keep commenting, whether its about fashion or the show itself. Gossip Girl keeps you wanting more.

Black Out!

Any French Vogue readers know that for some reason, this fall & winter has gone scary! It feels like Halloween is acceptable all the time!

Two very important designers Ives Saint Laurant, and Chanel both have released black lipstick on their models in their Fall/Winter runway shows!

Ives Saint Laurant

I don't know if I will ever be interested in wearing this color out to dinner or out on the streets, but the designers certainally have no problem with it.

If you catch yourself going to any hgih fashion/avant garde event, try out this new extreamly dark look.

You may inspire a few people. Thanks to me =]

SIR YES SIR!

New York Magazine has posted the best 100 looks of the season. Look number 7, by European brand DSQUARED2 released its gorgeous military coat, a similar look to a pea coat. It has a double set of buttons, and so far has been released in black.

I was walking around Forever 21 on 34th Street at the corner of 6th Ave, and I noticed a nice military coat that looked very similar. It didn't look as nice on me as it did on my best friend, and I convinced her to buy it. This coat was at a very low price of $42.80.

So anyone not looking to pay the high European price for this DSQUARED2 coat, go online to forever21.com. This coat will look great with any pair of jeans, stockings, or those leather leggings everyone has to have! Pair them with some boots and swipe on dark makeup and you'll be ready for any casual event and look extreamly stylish!

First Class Girl Tries Cheap Retail!

Well, being raised around New York & having a $15 an hour internship since the time I was 14 (Well two summers now) I am very used to buying rather exxpensive clothes.

I mean, I pay like $50 just for solid ribbed tanktops by Splendid, and every store I set in I have to buy something.

I love Henri Bendels on 5th Ave & 57th Street in Manhatten, & Barneys New York can earn #2 on the list of my second favorite store. My most recent perchase from Barneys was a $179 pair of True Religions, and to me that is rather cheap.

I guess I can say the cheapest store I ever shop in is Forever 21, for very trendy looks that will be out in one season, and it's not that often I find something I like.

But earlier today my mother & I took a coffee trip to starbucks which is located right next to a target and decided to walk in. I know about all the designers working for this mainstream, low priced store. I thought it was going to be something quite cheasy like how Kohls has had the brand Simply Very Wang (which by the way is not designed by her. I have personnal proof). I decided to look for myself at the clothes.

To my suprise, the clothes were not a bad quality, like the more expensive Kohls version of fake Vera Wang. I actually found two shirts which really make my figure look nice and the material is very nice. Can you believe two shirts only cost me $30! I also found a pair of stocking and high socks that go up to the thigh.

So, if you are on a budget and looking for nice and fashionable clothes, try Target. It is not as bad as it sounds, TAKE IT FROM THE SPOILED GIRL! I will definitly go back to see what else they have in store. You can really be suprised by what you find for such a low price!

The only downside was that the clothes run a little big. I'm usually a small in tops, and I had to buy an extra small and one of the shirts still has a bit of room. But that still won't stop me from going back.
