Well, being raised around New York & having a $15 an hour internship since the time I was 14 (Well two summers now) I am very used to buying rather exxpensive clothes.
I mean, I pay like $50 just for solid ribbed tanktops by Splendid, and every store I set in I have to buy something.
I love Henri Bendels on 5th Ave & 57th Street in Manhatten, & Barneys New York can earn #2 on the list of my second favorite store. My most recent perchase from Barneys was a $179 pair of True Religions, and to me that is rather cheap.
I guess I can say the cheapest store I ever shop in is Forever 21, for very trendy looks that will be out in one season, and it's not that often I find something I like.
But earlier today my mother & I took a coffee trip to starbucks which is located right next to a target and decided to walk in. I know about all the designers working for this mainstream, low priced store. I thought it was going to be something quite cheasy like how Kohls has had the brand Simply Very Wang (which by the way is not designed by her. I have personnal proof). I decided to look for myself at the clothes.
To my suprise, the clothes were not a bad quality, like the more expensive Kohls version of fake Vera Wang. I actually found two shirts which really make my figure look nice and the material is very nice. Can you believe two shirts only cost me $30! I also found a pair of stocking and high socks that go up to the thigh.
So, if you are on a budget and looking for nice and fashionable clothes, try Target. It is not as bad as it sounds, TAKE IT FROM THE SPOILED GIRL! I will definitly go back to see what else they have in store. You can really be suprised by what you find for such a low price!
The only downside was that the clothes run a little big. I'm usually a small in tops, and I had to buy an extra small and one of the shirts still has a bit of room. But that still won't stop me from going back.
